Private 1:1
PrivateOne instructor, one student. Suited to specific conditions such as a herniated disc, postnatal recovery or rehabilitation after injury.
The Reformer is a sliding carriage connected to adjustable springs. Depending on the exercise, the springs take some of your weight so you can move correctly, or add resistance so your torso must stay stable while your limbs move. Either way, the deep muscles around the spine have to work — exactly the muscles long sitting tends to switch off.
That is why Pilates can suit people with back pain, neck and shoulder pain, postnatal recovery or recent injuries — those who need to get strong again but should not train heavy yet.

Train with a friend or family member. Every movement still gets corrected, at a lighter cost than 1:1.

Six people per class at most. For those who want to train regularly and need the rhythm of a class to keep the habit.
